product description
The new patent pending Speedfil Z4 Cage is the first cage optimized for BTA (Between-The-Arms) aero hydration. The Z4 Cage works with standard water bottles, the Speedfil A2 and has several unique and distinct advantages.

The Z4 is lightweight, easily configurable and can be used on front, frame and rear saddle mounts.

The Speedfil Z4 Cage is designed with numerous ports for a direct BTA mount in the aerobar extensions with a minimum of 4 nylon zip/cable ties. No additional mount or hardware is required. The ports are strategically placed allowing for multiple positions and variable angles accommodating most aerobars.

The Speedfil Z4 integrates a detachable arm which can hold a GarminŽ Quarter Turn Bike Mount* to the top of the cage when used in a BTA configuration! This not only saves precious space within the aerobars but also provides easy access. Data is now where is should be - easily viewable and easily accessible!

*Z4+ Cage only, Speedfil A2 sold separately (below).

*GarminŽ Quarter Turn Bike Mount (below) is need to mount Garmins on the Z4 and Z4+.

Good Solution
September 24, 2013
Have used on 3 or 4 training rides and 2 races. Overall, it is a very good solution for between-the-aero-bars water storage. Location of the Garmin in easy view is great. Mounting with zip ties is lightweight, but not very stable. Two zip ties have broken in ~4 rides, bottle rattles against the bars, and the zip ties slide on the smooth carbon aero bars (put pads underneath zip ties, but two of those have fallen out). The straw clip is great to get the straw out of your face, but difficult to find an ideal position for the clip because if it is too far to one side it rubs your arm and if it is too far to the other side the straw needs to be bent quite a bit to get it in the clip. The strap does a good job holding the bottle securely in the cage.
Pros:
AERO, Lightweight
Cons:
Unstable
Best Uses:
Racing
