In late 2003 Nicole DeBoom was on a training run and decided that there needed to be more flattering and empowering clothing made for women. This started the concept and eventual development of her company SkirtSports Inc. The main idea of SkirtSports is to give the everyday woman the extra oomph to get out, workout and achieve all of her fitness goals and at the same time look darn good while do it! Nicole wore her first prototype skirt while crossing the finish line and WINNING Ironman Wisconsin in 2004. She then decided to launch this idea of SkirtSports Inc. as a full time endeavor and adventure in 2005. Since then she has started the skirt revolution. You see them everywhere from 5k's to marathons. Sprint Tri's to the full Ironman distance events. Don't be shy, slip on that skirt and your running shoes and you will never go back!!
