Sidi T-2 Carbon Triathlon Shoe

The Sidi T-2 Carbon Triathlon Shoe lives up to Sidi's legendary status as the finest cycling shoe company in the industry. The lightweight carbon composite sole maximizes your power transfer and the triathlon specific upper has a plush, brushed interior for sock-free comfort. The top strap is notched and opens away from the bike which eliminates any interference while pedaling away from or to the transition area. The T2 has nice large heel loop to help pull the shoe on and Sidi's heel cup has always had a nice, no slip hold.
The upper is made with Lorica which is an exceptionally soft and supple synthetic leather that possesses all of the positive attributes of leather without any of the draw backs. It is water repellent, quick drying, breathable and permeable to water vapor. Lorica is abrasion and mildew resistant. It is stretch resistant but holds a unique quality of forming to the contours of the foot nicely.
Sidi excels in many areas from power transfer to comfort but one of their most popular attributes is durability. It is not uncommon to see a rider trucking along in pair of 10-15 year old Sidi's that have Miami Vice colors. Sidi shoes are hand made and made with pride.
So what's the difference between the T2 and the T2.6? Essentially, it's weight and stiffness. If weight is a concern and consider yourself a "weight weenie" than the T2.6 is the choice.
Team a pair of Sidi's up with Shimano 7900 pedals for superior performance.
