Scott Spark 30 Full Suspension MTB
The Scott Spark 30 Full Suspension MTB has set the industry standard for a lightweight, race ready,
full suspension mountain bikes. It could be said that this machine was built for Xterra Triathlon
racing with a carbon main frame and a 6061 alloy custom butted swingarm weighing
an astonishing 1790 grams (3.95lbs) and 110mm of rear travel in the DT Swiss
M210. One of the features that sets the Spark 30 apart is the ability to run
at full suspension or full rigid with the Twin Lock handlebar lever. With
the flip of the TwinLoc the Spark 30 becomes full rigid for fast, efficient
climbing or full suspension for bombing downhill.
Full suspension mountain bikes are engineering marvels and the Spark 30 is no exception. It is built with the ever reliable single rear pivot. The rear swingarm moves through it's 110 mm of travel on sealed cartridge bearings for smooth reliable action. The front FOX 32 F120 RL shock is light, fast and durable. FOX is the first name in front shocks and the 32 F120 RL packs an incredible value into the Spark 30.
The build kit is well thought out with reliable, realistically light parts. A 34.9 400mm Scott seatpost for strength underneath a Selle Italia made Scott Team Edition saddle. Shimano SLX Radpid fire shifters and front derailleur with an XT rear derailleur for years smooth reliable shifting. A light, strong Shimano XT crankset which might possibly be the best component ever made in the industry to give you an efficient pedal stroke and adds flawless compatibility when shifting. Avid Elixer R hydrolic disc brakes for excellent brake power and Shimano M520 pedals are some of the highlights from the parts list below.
