Scott Road Bikes
Scott road bikes have continued to push the envelope when it comes to developing the lightest of the light framesets on the market. When Scott first designed the first sub-1000g frame in 2001 they could have been content, but they weren't! Instead Scott introduced in 2003 the extremely stiff and lightweight CR1 series weighing at 895g! Not to mention Scott continued refining its beautifully constructed carbon, full suspension mountain bikes. Entering 2007 Scott introduced the highly coveted Scott Addict breaking all records at a ridicolous weight of 695g! Extremely light with complete build weighing roughly 14 lbs., the Scott Addict integrates many features of the CR1 series, creating a state of the art Integrated Molding Process (IMP™) and mating it with our Naked External Tubeset (NET™), which removes the cosmetic layer of carbon and shaves precious grams off of the entire frame.
