I would recommend this item to a friend.

    Works for me
    January 12, 2015
I didn't have a problem reaching down for my water bottle on my road bike, but it was a different story when I was in an aero position on my TT bike. Awkward to say the least. So I wanted to something easier to access and more aero to boot. This Profile Design Aerodrink system fit the bill, but I did have to buy the bracket to make it convenient to use. I also cut the drinking tube down to just an inch or two and I removed the yellow sponge/sink scubber thing that is supposed to help prevent splashing. On rough roads there is a little splashing but nothing that bothers me. All and all at least with my Fuji Norcom Oval 950 aero bars I can say it works for me. Except in a 15 mph+ crosswind I haven't noticed any difference in the way my bike handles.
Inexpensive Alternative to downtube water bottles. Very easy to mount (with bracket) and drink from. Easy to remove and refill.
Straw not aero. Cap not aero. Some splashing. Crosswind can add some instability to front end.

Better choices out there I hope.

Ok. I really wanted to like this water bottle and sort of do. It's easy to mount and easy to use. Fits well in the newer style holder that mounts to the base bar. That said, this bottle has a critical flaw. The hole where the straw enters leaks while riding. That would not be so bad except with the air flow around it, the bottle turns into a spray gun and covers your bike from front to back with whatever is in the bottle. I'm going to try sealing the hole with a neoprene washer to see if that helps right after I wash the sticky mess off of my bike.
