The Mavic Open pro rim is an excellent rim to build up a solid training wheel, while choosing your hub and spokes of choice. Available in 700. Available in 28 or 32 hole configuration. CD - Slows down brake wear by created a harder rim.

Ceramic 2 - A thermic shield, harder than aluminum, coats the rim walls to improve braking in pood conditions.

Maxtal - Exclusive to Mavic®. An aluminum alloy that is 30% more resistant that 6160 alloy for lighter and spicier rims

SUP - A welded a milled rim joint which is extremely strong, eliminates shuddering when braking, and offers superior wheel balance.

UB Control - Braking surface is milled to improve braking and reduce shuddering.
