Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR Rear Wheel:
Directly inspired from the Mavic Cosmic Ultimate, the Mavic Cosmic Carbon SLR is the new Mavic reference in aero clincher wheels. A redesigned 52mm carbon/ aluminum rim reduces weight by 20 grams over its predecessor and the same R2R carbon spoke design as the Ultimate make this wheel the perfect blend of aerodynamics, lightweight, stiffness and ease-of-use. Full carbon, aerodynamic spokes are used in an extremely unique hub design provides superior comfort and responsiveness.

Benefits over the Cosmic Carbone SL:

R2R (Rim 2 Rim): A normal wheel uses 2 spokes with 4 spoke ends. The R2R rims allows the use of only one spoke with 2 spoke ends. This improves aerodynamics and stiffness. It also strengthens the wheel while providing additional comfort for the rider.

Mavic Patented hub design: Working in conjuction with Mavic's R2R spoke design the hubs are incredibly lightweight and extremely aerodynamic

FTS-L (Force Transfer System Light): Free wheel system provides a robust and lightweight hub, allowing all the torque at the free wheel to be transmitted to the hub.

ISM (Inter Spoke Milling): A lighter rim and equal rigidity is the magic equation to reduce inertia and to free extra power for climbing and sprinting

MAXTAL: Aluminum alloy is used that is 30% more resistant to failure than 6106 alloy
