Koobi Stratus Soft Gel Saddle

The Koobi Stratus Soft Gel Saddle has all the same great features as the Koobi Tri Gel Saddle, but with 16% softer gel. The Koobi Stratus Soft Gel saddle is an excellent, lightweight choice for lighter riders and short and middle distance triatheletes.

The Koobi Stratus Tri Gel saddle has an additional 20% more padding for riding in the aero position. A great ride for triathletes! With the softer gel you may not need to even put a De Soto Neoprene saddle cover on!

Koobi has “raised the bar” on comfort by taking their Xenon and adding gel to the top. This gives an extremely soft feel that conforms to the rider's shape, yet supports it for long hours of riding. With the gel running tip to tail, comfort is achieved in all riding positions, especially the aero position. For cover material, they have also “raised the bar” of comfort by using Phase Change Material on the top of the saddle. This heat dissipating material was developed for the NASA Space Program. The sides of the rear have a new cutting edge Kevlar interwoven with reflective fabric.

This extremely light weight saddle is made possible by replacing the solid titanium rail used on the Xenon with a hollow titanium tube rail for an astonishing weight of 249 grams (155mm max width).
