OPEN Assistant Buyer
The Assistant Buyer/Planner role is essential to the functionality of TriSports.com on a day-to-day and long term basis.  This is a new position for TriSports.com and is likely to be both a challenging and exciting position that will require strong computer skills, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication skills working cross-functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building product numbers for in-house inventory management system and website
  • Support planner/buyer team with any ad hoc business analysis and/or reporting requested
  • Reconcile vendor order confirmations with purchase order documents
  • Assist Buyer/Planners with new seasonal vendor product reports, content management input and other analysis needed by Buyer/Planner to make informed decisions
  • Investigate and resolve receiving problems
  • Maintain sample merchandising log
  • Assist in building purchase orders on an as-needed basis
  • Assist with special projects when needed


Qualifications

  • Minimum of a 2-year college degree
  • Strong Excel skills in formulating data and understanding of advanced formulas (vlookups and pivots)

OPEN Programmer/Analyst Contractor

TriSports.com, a world leader in Triathlon Retail and E-commerce, is looking for an innovative and talented Programmer/Analyst to join the Information Technology team on a contract basis. Term is expected to be 3 to 6 months. The programming environment includes Perl, PHP, Windows batch scripting, and Unix shell scripting. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the primary goal of the Programmer/Analyst contractor is to develop a new logging and reporting system to monitor automation of critical systems, including:

Logging of automated inbound and outbound data feeds.

Logging of outbound event-driven customer email delivery.

Maintenance of existing data feeds and development of new data feeds.

Development of an IT dashboard to identify at a glance the success or failure of automated feeds and other processes.

Implementation of a system to alert IT staff to errors in automated processes.

These logging and reporting projects will permit the Information Technology staff  to improve the efficiency and operational readiness of the Tucson warehouse, retail store, and corporate headquarters, as well as the mobile expo store, and the TriSports.com Internet presence.

Contract Scope

Working with the IT staff, design, develop, and document a robust logging mechanism to track activity and results of a diverse set of inbound and outbound data feeds.

Present high-level, at-a-glance current status results of each feed in a dashboard, with the ability to drill down into each feed to review detailed history for the feed.

The logging system should support SQL input from TriSports’ email delivery system.

Integrate existing data feeds into the logging system, modifying the feed scripts as necessary to provide seamless and robust monitoring of each script.

As time permits, develop new data feeds as needed and integrate into the logging system.

Requirements or Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Information Technology field.

Abilities and Skills

  • Excellent written, analytical and verbal communications skills.

OPEN Network Administrator

TriSports.com, a world leader in Triathlon Retail and E-commerce, is looking for an innovative and talented Network Administrator to join the Information Technology team. Reporting to the Director of Technology, a successful Network Administrator will support existing business operations and implement new technological solutions to help improve and streamline TriSports.com's operations. Critical to this position is a proven understanding of computer, network, and Internet technologies, and the flexibility to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects. Every day at TriSports.com, the Information Technology staff strives to improve the efficiency and operational readiness of the Tucson warehouse, retail store, and corporate headquarters, as well as mobile expo store, and the TriSports.com Internet presence.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support TriSports.com's business systems, such as order entry, shipping, printing, receiving, retail, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Support and troubleshoot Network and VPN connectivity between Trisports.com's locations.
  • Design, build, and support intranet tools to help corporate users analyze and understand inventory, sales, marketing, and other data.
  • Design, build, and support tools to facilitate efficient and automated data feed delivery to 3rd party partners.
  • Work with business users to define business requirements for new technology solutions.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues as a part of a 7 day a week on-call IT staff.
  • Occasional travel to remote retail stores and expos may be required.

Job Requirements or Qualifications:
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certification a plus.

The primary goal of the Customer Service/Sales Representative is to deliver a “WOW!” Customer Service experience to each and every customer every time. The general purpose of the Customer Service/Sales position is to assist customers with placing new orders, assisting customers with existing orders and providing product and policy information. Communication with the customer can be in the form of a phone call, email or online chat. The Customer Service/Sales representatives work together as a team to ensure that orders are processed on a daily basis to guarantee on-time delivery for the customer. The basic function of a bicycle wizard at TriSports.com is to service, repair and build bicycles as they are presented. The mechanic is responsible for courteously greeting walk-in customers and fielding incoming calls with respect to technical questions. Karaoke experience not required but a plus.

This Controller will be the first on-staff financial hire for TriSports.com and will be a critical member of our team. Responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash management our star candidates will be strong business analysts as well as good day-to-day financial operational managers.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own all aspects of the accounting function including month-end close, general ledger analysis, capital expenditures, and working capital management.
  • Maintain financial records in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and evolving accounting guidance.
  • Prepares monthly consolidated financials in a timely fashion and reviews financial statements with senior managment with ability to identify issues and opportunities clearly and accurately.
  • Lead company through review/audit process with external CPA firms.
  • Interfaces with tax firm to insure timely and accurate tax filings.
  • Ability to lead annual budgeting process interfacing with all departments of company.
  • Understanding of multi channel distribution structure.
  • Comfortable working in fast paced, growth oriented enviornment.
  • Establish and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures, and monitor the banking relationship to ensure cash resources are available for daily operations.
