The De Soto First Wave Bibjohn is simply the best wetsuit in the world and we challenge it against any other more expensive brands to the test. Our high-end suit is lined with 4-way stretch Nylon Lycra® to minimize chafing. All seams are glued and blind-stitched, making them stronger than the rubber itself. All 2008 wetsuit models feature sleek new graphics and are sold as separates for a more customized fit. Find the top and bottom that fits you best and truly enjoy the first leg of your races this season with De Soto First Wave Wetsuits!!
Features include:
Stretchy 5mm thickness to the hips floats the legs and hips more than any other wetsuit.
3mm Bib straps go over the trapezius (base of neck), so no limited reach, no tired shoulders, and faster swim times.
Yamamoto #39 Super Composite Skin rubber makes the First Wave the warmest, fastest, most durable, flexible, and buoyant, and the most comfortable wetsuit in the world today.
Chlorine Resistant treatment.
NEW FOR 2008: Elliptical leg openings for faster and easier removal. Longer seam tape for self-customizing leg length, and lower profile Bibjohn straps with soft Lycra trim.

How to measure: CHEST
(circumference measured at the nipple line) IF YOU ARE MALE BUST (and cup size) IF YOU ARE FEMALE WAIST (circumference measured at the belly-button line) HIPS (circumference measured at the widest point of your buttocks, not just at your hips)
Please keep in mind that the size chart is a basic guide and every body is unique. We each know our own bodies and whether we are considered disproportional in any way based on garments we have bought in the past. If you have any doubts, please call us at 888-293-3934 or email us at sales@trisports.com.
How to use this Chart.
Find your height and weight on the size chart. This will narrow you down to one or two different sizes.
Bibjohn Size:Find your waist and hip measurements in the chart for your gender. This will be your Bibjohn size.
Pullover Size:Find your chest and waist measurements in the chart for your gender. This will be your Pullover size.
Other factors:1.It is not uncommon for the sizes of Pullover and Bibjohn to be different.
2. If you are on the border of two sizes, and you are buying the Black Pearl Model, choose the larger of the two sizes.
3. If you are on the border of two sizes, and you are an aggressive swimmer, choose the smaller size.
One of the strengths of a two-piece suit is the ability to mix-and-match tops and bottoms to come up with an appropriate fit. Even a top pro––man or woman––may find the size chart not entirely indicative of his or her body's idiosynchracies. One who comes from a strong cycling background and has muscular legs and a smaller upper body may fit into a different set of sizes than one who comes from swimming and has a large chest and back. Consider, when choosing the appropriate T1 sizes for you, whether you're evenly proportioned or whether you might need to stray from the recommended bibjohn and pullover sizes.
