Take one look at the BMC SLT01 Team machine frameset and you are immmediately pulled toward its extremely unique junction of the top and seat tube with the seat stays. The Integrated Skeleton Concept (ISC) technology that BMC developed sheds grams, improves handling, and provides incredible dampening of road vibrations. The entire junction is made from high quality aluminum which is then blended to the rest of the carbon bike. A carbon and aluminum hybrid, which is geared for a heavier rider or a cyclist that wants optimum sprinting power.

Using unidirectional carbon fiber, outside of the top tube, seat tube, and seat stay junction, provides stiffness in a broader range of applicable forces. Just think of how strong a piece of wood is along the grain and you'll understand the goal of using unidirectional carbon fiber throughout the frame.

Another impressive feature is the tube/lug interface. The interface is positioned much farther away from high stress junctions in order to improve the strength and rigidity of the entire frame. This feature also greatly extends the life of your BMC SLT01 frame.
