I have tried many saddles over the years. Never EVER felt comfortable. I also never felt like any saddle I used was designed to fit with my anatomy. Enter Adamo. I saw it years ago, bought it right away and it was a life saver for my cycling career. Hands down the most intelligently designed saddle ever. No numbness... ever again. Let the blood flow and the rides increase in length indefinitely. :D The tough part for new converts will be the break in time because this saddle requires you to put pressure on your "sit bones"... and bruised/tender bones HURT... 1 month of suffering and you will say it was worth every bit... no doubt.
    Pros:
    Form and function
    Cons:
    Break in time for noobies
    Best Uses:
    All cycling period

    Comfortable for the most part
    August 20, 2011
When I bought a TT bike and began spending a lot of time in the aero position, I soon realized that the traditional saddle design (Fizik Arione Tri 2 to be specific) was causing numbness. I realized that was not a good thing, so I decided to try the split design of the Adamo Racing saddle. This saddle meets my expectation of not causing numbness. It takes some time to get used to as the saddle takes the pressure off of your pudenal nerve and puts it on your sit bone. The racing/tri saddle is designed for performance, so it is not the most padded of the ISM saddle line. Sometimes during long training rides, my butt gets a little sore, but I've never had any issues while racing. Other parts of your body should be hurting more during a race, right?
    Pros:
    Durable, Prevents numbness
    Cons:
    Not Enough Padding
    Best Uses:
    Triathlon, Road Racing

    Pain free fanny!
    August 11, 2011
Id been racing Half Ironman distance triathlons for several years and I was very concerned about stepping up to Ironman distance because cycling hurt my bottom sooooooo much! But I hear through other athletes that the ISM saddle was the solution. I thought at first it was just a trend, because lets be honest, they look pretty funny. But after trying one and breaking it in, I have never felt more comfortable on my bike.

I definitely recommend this saddle!!! No more do I have to accept rubbing the nose of the saddle or numbness on longer rides. No I wouldnt say it is a dream come true at the end of the day it is still a bike seat but it is by far the best ?Tri? saddle that I have used. The one piece of advice if you try this saddle is nose down and saddle back. Since you sit further off the front of this saddle you need to have the nose about 4-5 cm further back to maintain the same position on the bike. You will also want the nose angled down a bit more than a traditional saddle, start with the rail parallel with the ground and you should be close. The best part about this saddle is you can demo it at Trisports.com for $25 bucks and if you dont like you dont own another saddle that doesnt work for you. If you do like it you can apply $20 of the rental fee towards the purchase of a saddle.

After numerous attempts at traditional saddles, the last count was 6 or 7; and these werent inexpensive seats, I saw an advertisement that Id seen many times in the advertising section of the Bicycling magazine for your product. The one with the tag line, so comfortable, no shorts needed, or something similar. During the purchase of the 6 or 7 prior models, I had looked extensively at the ISM also, websites and reviews (which seem limited) and FINALLY took the plunge. As I mentioned previously, the customer service at trisports was excellent, and impeccable. The seat: The local bike shop here that has a great manager and knowledgeable mechanics is T-Town and I took the saddle over to Jake and he fitted and measured and re-measured, based on the instructions that came with the saddle. Well you can imagine the adjustments I had to make, and for the first miles out, I was determined to use the saddle as intended since it is possible to sit, ?back on the saddle and be mildly comfortable. The ?trick for me though was to keep moving ?forward to have the 3 finger widths on the back of the saddle, between the back of the saddle and my rear-end. After about the 3rd time out, this really came together and now I just sit where designed and have ZERO!!!!! perennial numbness, after experiencing LOTS of numbness when on the other saddles. At one point, it was so intense, I was looking at giving up biking altogether or riding a recumbent, which to me is the same thing. This is the best product on the market besides the bike itself, and you have provided the space needed for me to ride as much as possible with no ?performance issues OR discomfort issues. Ive been gauging my speed and noticing the increased confidence on the bike, and no joke, Ive been able to increase my speeds on the flats, and time in the drops, due to the COMFORT of your saddle. Speed has increased at least 2 mph on average, and in the long flats for extended duration over 3 mph. I want to thank you again for many pain free miles in the area of the perineum, my legs ache now, which is a good thing. Please keep up the good work

I was skeptical of the look, but the promise of comfort on a long tri was compelling. I took this saddle home moved it forward, tilted it down tweaked a little more. Now I can ride in the areo position for hours comfortably. Get it.

This is probably the best advancement in Saddles! Takes all the pressure and transfers it to your bottom. I can ride endless miles now. Highly recommend. I did narrow the gap in the front and there is no rubbing on the inside of my thighs. Buy!!!!

Thank the Gods for this saddle!! I was having a serious problem with pudendal nerve pressure with my old saddle. Numbness was shooting from my Johnson to my toes after about 10-12 miles. After some minor adjustments to the position of the Adamo I was able to do 20 miles without a single tingle. I would give this seat 10 stars if I could.
