Backorders

TriSports.com has an extensive inventory of all of the goodies you need to make your training and racing just a little easier. Due to limited availability or unexpected popularity of some of the products we sell, a particular item may be out of stock. We make every effort to make you aware of the unavailability of an item before you make a purchase. If it is an item with no options, the order box should read "Out of Stock" at the top if it is not available. If there are options in a drop-down menu, please click on the option you want. The option should say "in-stock" or "out-of-stock" and the stock status at the top of the order box will reflect the current status, as well. If an item is out of stock and you try to add it to your shopping cart, a box will pop up to inform you of the status and ask you if you want to continue. Once in the shopping cart, the status will also be displayed under the column heading "In Stock," with a notation of "Yes" or "No."


If a backorder causes your order to be sent in more than one shipment, you will only be charged shipping once, for the entire weight of the order. We pay Ground or US Postal shipping on all shipments following the original order (excluding international orders). If it is the only item on your order, we will ship the item as soon as it is back in stock. We do not bill your card until the order ships. If it is one of multiple items on your order, we will ship ahead the rest of the order and send the backordered item as soon as it is back in stock. If you requested expedited shipping on your order, please note that backorders are only sent via Ground or US Postal. Please contact Customer Service by email or phone at 888-293-3934 (10am-8pm EST, M-F) for options if you need to expedite shipping on a backordered item.


Please note that backorders will not be kept in our system longer than 3 months unless it is on a pre-order item that has been delayed from the manufacturer. If expected dates change while you are waiting for an item, we will email you with a new expected date.
